Here it's reduced to a single polished stone with rays rising from one side, so the ring reads as geometry from above and as a horizon from the side.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe rays are formed rather than cut. We shape them in \u003cem\u003emedia caña\u003c\/em\u003e — a half-round section drawn to a point, the same technique we use for our Sol earrings, pendant and scarf ring.
