Sol Pendant in Sterling Silver
The Sol Pendant is a sculptural .925 sterling silver sun pendant set with a natural stone, made by hand in our workshop in Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. It belongs to Sol — the first collection we ever made.
We started with the sun because it's where Mexico starts: a symbol of life, energy and renewal drawn on these lands for millennia. The silhouette borrows from ancient Mexican iconography and lands somewhere contemporary.
The rays are formed rather than cut. We shape them in media caña — a half-round section drawn to a point, the same technique we use for our Sol earrings and scarf ring. It gives each ray a rounded, dimensional body instead of a flat profile.
Choose your stone: jade, lapis lazuli, malachite, black onyx or pyrite. We select each one by hand, so no two pendants are alike.
Wear it alone or layered with other chains.

Care
Silver is a living material and will develop a patina over time. Polish it with a silver cloth to bring back the shine, or leave it darker — we like it both ways. Keep the stone away from perfume and household cleaners.
Questions
Does it come with a chain? Not yet. The Sol Pendant ships on its own, with an integrated bail that fits most chains, so you can hang it on one you already love. We're working on our own chain and will offer it soon.
Does it match the Sol earrings and scarf ring? Yes — all three are formed the same way, in media caña, so the rays read identically across the pieces. They were made to be worn together.
Are the stones natural? Yes. Every stone is natural, hand-selected and cut by our lapidary in Mexico. Color and veining vary from one piece to the next.
