Sol Pequeño Earrings in Sterling Silver

The Sol Pequeño Earrings are sculptural .925 sterling silver sun studs set with natural stones, made by hand in our workshop in Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico. Same sun, smaller scale — the quieter of our two Sol earrings.

They belong to Sol, the first collection we ever made. We started with the sun because it's where Mexico starts: a symbol of life, warmth and renewal drawn on these lands for millennia.

The rays are formed rather than cut. We shape them in media caña — a half-round section drawn to a point, the same technique we use for our Sol pendant and scarf ring. At this size it makes all the difference: the rays keep their dimension instead of flattening out.

Choose your stone: malachite, lapis lazuli, jade or black onyx. We select each one by hand, so no two pairs are alike.

These are the ones you put on and forget you're wearing.

Care

Silver is a living material and will develop a patina over time. Polish it with a silver cloth to bring back the shine, or leave it darker — we like it both ways. Keep the stones away from perfume and household cleaners.

Is there a larger version? Yes. The Sol Earrings are the same design at full scale, if you want more presence.

Do they match the Sol pendant and scarf ring? Yes — all three are formed the same way, in media caña, so the rays read identically across the pieces. They were made to be worn together.
